Cobra Sports Lowering Spring Kit

Lower your VW T5 T5.1 T6  by 40mm with our superb Cobra Sports lowering springs.

With over 25 years of spring design and manufacturing expertise Cobra know how to develop and manufacture top quality, superior performing lowered springs. The springs are engineered primarily to improve handling while maintaining safety and ride quality.

These superb lowering springs are wound from high tensile chromium silicone wire purchased from one of Europe’s leading premium steel manufacturers. The springs themselves are cold wound on CNC coilers, heat treated, shot peened and finally finished with a phosphate treatment + tough baked resin powder coat to help prevent corrosion, for the ultimate longevity.

Engineered to lower ride height by 40mm  these lowering sports springs will improve handling while maintaining superb ride quality.

By lowering the vehicle this will add a sporty look to your T5 or T6. Supplied as a complete set of 4, they can be used with the vehicle's original shock absorbers as long as these are in safe and efficient working order.

Fitment: 
VW T5 Transporter, Caravelle & California 03-09 and 2010-2015.
VW T6 Transporter & Caravelle 2015 onwards.

The VW T5 & T6 factory specification Sportline models are lowered by approx -30mm as standard.

The kits contain 4x lowered progressively wound lowering springs with 40mm drop.

When having new or up-rated suspension fitted it's advisable to replace such things like the rear coil spring mounting cups as these can sometimes be worn. When uprating your suspension, using old worn parts can sometimes cause vibration or knocking from the worn components so we always advise to replace these parts at the same time. Please check our meyle range for drop links, top mounts, springs etc. 

All specified lowering rates may vary approx. +/- 10 mm depending on vehicle standard specification, options, tolerances & age. For example camper conversions, carrying more or less weight in the rear.
